Life is too short to have boring hair.
Some think that having curly hair it’s not attractive. But, women with curly hair are special. They stand out in a crowd. They are not afraid to be themselves. They doesn’t care to conform to societal standards. They embrace themselves. What man could resist a woman like this?
I don’t have curly hair, but, I’ve been told that having curly hair is a challenge. Every time I compliment a curly hair girl, they be like ” having a good curly hair is harder than it looks”. Keeping the waves and curls looking shiny and strong, it’s not easy.
So, for every curly hair girl out there, here are some tips:
Don’t sacrifice the health of your hair to go straight. Refrain from straightening, flat-ironing, and blowing out.
Don’t wash your hair everyday
This might sound crazy, but it’s not very healthy for you hair if you wash them everyday. Every two to three days is best to allow the natural oils to soak in and the curls will be less fluffy and will settle in.
Comb your hair from the bottom up.
Always comb your hair from the bottom up. Starting at the bottom allows you to gently detangle each knot, rather than compounding them all toward the bottom and yanking your way through with a comb.
Trim regularly to avoid split ends.
If you want to have healthy curls, you should regularly trim your hair. Split ends are never a good look. It is imperative that you find a stylist that is an expert with curls. Whether they cut wet or dry, choose a stylist that insists that you go with your natural curl and not one that steers you towards the blow out.
Sleep on a silk pillow case
Silk is very gentle on the hair cuticle and won’t roughen hair fibers.
Protect your hair from the sun
Environmental damage is even more of a threat to curly hair.
Women with curly hair are special.
