How to Get in Shape After Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a beautiful journey, a glorious time in a woman’s life. 

Pregnancy is a miracle. Just think about it, having the power to create a new life, women are everything!

After your pregnancy, everything in your life changes, in a good way. The only thing that women hate about pregnancy is gaining weight. So, the question is, how to get in shape after pregnancy?

Here are some tips.

Be Positive

Instead of saying “I hate my body” or “I am never getting into shape”, say I am so glad I gave birth to this beautiful baby. When you see your baby’s face smiling, it’s all worth it. Believe me. Try to always think the positive things, instead of the negatives.

Move Around

Get up and move. Try to spend time walking or doing something, rather than sitting. It depends on your body, but usually most women’s bodies aren’t ready for serious exercise until six weeks after giving birth. So, doing some work around the house it would be better for your body.

Eat healthful snacks

Skip the sugary treats. Try to eat more healthy. It’s good for your body, also for your baby, since you are breastfeeding.

Sleep well

Getting plenty of sleep helps with weight loss because you are not compelled to binge on high-calorie, high-sugar foods for energy. Take a nap every time your baby does.

Lift Weights

If you feel like your body is still not ready for gym, or you don’t have enough time. That’s fine. Instead of going to gym, incorporate your baby into your routine. Hold the baby to your chest, or do lunges behind the stroller as you walk.

Breastfeed

Breastfeeding burns 600 to 800 calories a day, even if all you do is sit comfortable and feed your baby, you could still be losing weight.
